Citizenship Preparation Class 

Learn more about the United States, and the rights and privileges of its citizens.

 

This ESL Citizenship class covers the basics of United States history and government as well as the procedures to become a naturalized citizen.  It provides students with an overview of the structure of the federal, state, county and city government, and the responsibilities of citizens who live under a democratic form of government.  In addition, students will familiarize themselves with components of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) approved Basic Skills Citizenship Examination.

 

Classes begin February 26, 2018 

and end on June 11, 2018.
